Yoga is for Every Body
Dana is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher. She began practicing yoga ten years ago when she developed carpal tunnel syndrome while in graduate school. As her practice deepened, she began to experience more than just the physical benefits of yoga. Yoga improved her body image, which positively impacted her relationship with food. Recent research shows what Dana has long believed, that yoga can help people who struggle with food/weight obsession by increasing body awareness and promoting self acceptance. The style of yoga she teaches offers a unique way to integrate body and mind through opening to the wisdom of the body. Dana has been teaching Kripalu yoga for five years. Her current teaching schedule is below and she is available for private yoga sessions.
